Vedic Meditation Initiator Training.

Hi everyone! I have some exciting news that I’d like to share. On January 20th, I will be traveling to India for Vedic Meditation Initiator Training.

Vedic Meditation is a simple and effortless style of meditation that I practice twice each day. It has truly transformed my life. It decreases my stress, allowing me to feel more calm, open, and compassionate. It helps me to see that everything is happening for me and not to me. It strengthens my intuition. It has helped me to navigate extreme loss and grief. It has increased my confidence allowing me to feel more embodied and go with the flow. It allows me to appreciate the beauty that surrounds me, increasing feelings of bliss and presence. For all of these reasons, I want to become an initiator of this practice so that I can share it with all of you.

I have been completing prerequisites for this training for the past 7 years and I can’t believe the time has finally come. After this training, I will be able to teach Vedic Meditation to anyone who is interested. I am so excited to integrate this style of teaching into my acupuncture practice because it will provide even more resources and self-sufficiency for my patients and future students.

There are several people who have made this dream a reality. Thank you to Yashoda Devi Ma for teaching me Vedic Meditation in 2015 and for being a guiding light all of these years, to my patients for trusting me to take 3 months away so that I can come back to my acupuncture practice with even more to offer, to my friends and family for their support, especially my husband for holding down the fort while I’m gone, and to Thom Knoles and his team for creating this beautiful training and for giving me the opportunity of a lifetime.

The training is three months long in an ashram setting in Northern India. I will return at the end of April and will be so excited to connect with you all then. Sending you love and hope you have a beautiful winter. See you on the other side :)
