Acupressure to help us feel more at ease in our body and soul:
We’ve all been through a lot this year and so have our lungs. This point is able to soothe both our lungs and our frazzled nervous systems.
Point name: LUNG 9 ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Location: Feel for the pulse beneath the thumb at the wrist crease, and then go to the depression on the outer edge of that pulse. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Routine: with gentle pressure, use your thumb to massage this point in a circular motion for 1 to 2 minutes. Take deep breaths while you massage this point and notice your lungs expanding and opening. Repeat on the other side. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
This point treats: cough, asthma, shortness of breath, fatigue, weak voice, palpitations, sore throat, pain in the wrist, arm, shoulder, and chest. This point also has the power to calm, revitalize, and stabilize our body and soul.
