The Chinese Body Clock.

Flow with this clock to optimize your health.

The Chinese body clock emphasizes certain activities throughout the day to support your organs. Qi, or energy, flows through each organ every two hours. When we use specific organs at these designated times of the day, we will find balance in our body.

How I integrate this system into my day:

1. I wake up before 7am
2. I do most of my detailed work between 9-11am
3. I exercise between 11am-1pm
4. I try to eat dinner before 7pm
5. I go to sleep before 11pm.

If you feel out of balance, say you have insomnia, try getting in bed before 11pm. Or, if you have digestion problems, try eating your meals at the designated times on the clock.

Whenever I have an imbalance, I refer to this clock and adjust my activities to align with the natural rhythms of my body.
