Lemon Ginger Turmeric Tea Recipe

This healing Lemon Ginger Turmeric Tea is the perfect beverage to sip on throughout the winter! Itโs warming, delicious and anti-inflammatory. ๏ปฟIt can also help strengthen your immune system.
๐๐ป๐ด๐ฟ๐ฒ๐ฑ๐ถ๐ฒ๐ป๐๐ (๐ฆ๐ฒ๐ฟ๐๐ฒ๐ 4):
4 cups of water
1 lemon, in slices
2 inches of fresh turmeric, in slices
1 inch of fresh ginger, in slices
1 cinnamon stick
A pinch of cracked black pepper (makes turmeric more bioavailable/absorbable for the body)
1 tbsp maple syrup (or stevia to taste)
๐๐ป๐๐๐ฟ๐๐ฐ๐๐ถ๐ผ๐ป๐:
1. Bring the water to a boil.
2. Add the lemon, turmeric, ginger, black pepper and cinnamon stick. Cover with a lid and let simmer for 5 minutes on low heat.
3. Pour the hot tea through a strainer and sweeten with the maple syrup (or stevia to taste).
4. Enjoy while itโs hot! If you want to save the rest of the tea, cover it with a lid and store in the fridge for up to 2 days.
