Decision-Making: How to be less indecisive and trust your gut.

Decision-Making:

This weekend I was chatting with my friend about decisions and how to know when we’ve made the right one. Most of us were taught to make decisions by analyzing the pros and cons of a situation. However there might be an easier and more effortless way...

If we calm our minds and tune into our inner knowing, when we come to a fork in the road, we will be able to see the path that is clearly presenting itself.

When we take away analyzing and speculating, we are left with feeling and knowing. Which will help us to trust our instincts and lean into the most evolutionary choice.

Of course the morning after I had this conversation with my friend, I got a newsletter from Jeff Kober talking about the same exact thing. Here are his words on the subject:

“Knowledge of the self shows us a way through life that is clear and obvious. The Self is at-one-with the movement of the laws of nature, and the path shown to us by nature is always the path of evolution. As the Self, this is the path we naturally will take. We will be led by evolution and the higher good for all, and we will no longer be attached to the false neediness of the ego.”

Long story short, if a path is clearly presenting itself to you and it feels right in your soul, stop questioning if the grass is greener on the other side, and take the leap.

As someone who used to be extremely indecisive, embracing this way of thinking has been a game changer for me.
